1. Using This Site
By using the Field & Threads website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Field & Threads is a division of Designs Unlimited, an Illinois-based company.
2. Orders & Minimums
All products are custom made to order.
- Minimum order is 24 pieces per style and color, unless otherwise noted.
- Orders become final once submitted through checkout.
- Because items are custom, orders cannot be changed, canceled, or returned after checkout.
We reserve the right to refuse any order at our discretion.
3. Pricing
Our pricing is designed to be simple and all-inclusive. The price you see includes:
- The product (cap or headwear item)
- Your selected embellishment method
- Standard setup costs
- Ground shipping to one location within the contiguous United States
Prices may change at any time prior to placing an order.
4. Shipping
- We currently ship within the contiguous United States only. Orders shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or international destinations are not supported at this time.
- Ground shipping to one location is included in your order.
- Multiple ship-to locations are not available at this time.
- Expedited shipping options may be available at checkout for an additional charge.
- Delivery timelines are estimates and not guaranteed.
Once your order is handed off to the carrier, responsibility transfers to the customer. We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, or other factors outside our control.
5. Production Timing
Our standard production time is typically 10–15 business days after final proof approval. Shipping time is in addition to production time.
Rush production is not currently available.
6. Sales Tax
Sales tax will be applied where required by law.
If you are tax-exempt, you must provide valid documentation prior to order processing. Without proper documentation, tax will be charged.
7. Artwork & Ownership
When you upload artwork, logos, or designs, you confirm that:
- You own the rights to use them, or
- You have permission to use them
We do not verify ownership and are not responsible for any copyright or trademark issues. You assume full responsibility for the materials you submit.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order that may violate intellectual property rights.
8. Customer-Supplied Products
We do not accept customer-supplied caps or merchandise. All items must be purchased through Field & Threads.
9. Product Variations
Because every order is custom:
- Slight variations in color, placement, or materials may occur
- Digital proofs are for reference and may not match final production exactly
- These minor variations are normal and not considered defects
10. Returns & Order Issues
All sales are final due to the custom nature of our products.
If there is an issue with your order, we will make it right.
- Claims for shortages or defects must be submitted within 5 business days of delivery
- We may request photos or additional details to review the issue
- We will determine the appropriate resolution, which may include replacement or correction
11. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Field & Threads and Designs Unlimited are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including loss of profits or business interruption.
Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the order in question.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any disputes will be handled in Illinois courts.
13. Updates to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions at any time. By continuing to use the site, you agree to the current version.
